Hi everyone!
So what has been going on? I feel like asking you guys a question. And you should answer, because we’re cool and we’ll talk back to you. Anyway, the band has been practicing and working on new material for a while now. After yesterday’s practice I can safely say our new song will be the best one yet, and have a very different sound from all the others.
Upcoming Show:
So we gots a show September 14th at Milly’s Tavern that anyone nearby should try to get to. It’s a Sunday and starts at 1pm, early I know. You can message the band to get a ticket for $8 or pay $10 at the door, but there is also a $3 door charge too apparently, so save yourself the money and buy a ticket from us.
Future shows:
Right now we don’t have anything booked because three of the members have/are getting new jobs so we are settling into our schedules and seeing what works best for all of us. Sam and I are starting college again soon as well so things will be a little hectic. But if anyone wants to book us please shoot us a message and we’ll see what we can do!
Merch:
We have copies of our self-produced/recorded/everything-ed EP still available, but not many actually. So if you want one send us a message, they are $5 each. Also t-shirts are plentiful and come in your size we swear! Those are $10 each.
Recording:
Oh yeah, forgot about that. We will be recording on September 20th most likely at Project 2 Studios. Only one song from that session because we want to take our time and have it turn out great. Also, in the near future we are probably making a trip to NY and recording at Joetown Studios. We’d get to use Eddie Van Halen’s amp, and that’s just cool.
Future Future:
We are in the long haul with this. We are in the process of recording some home demos that likely won’t see the light of day, but will be used for a full length album to be recorded professionally in the studio. We’ll be writing a few more songs then picking the best 10-13 tracks for the CD.
You:
Thank you to everyone who listens to our music and supports us with comments. We make music for you guys, not really for ourselves. Sure it helps us, but it is so much more gratifying to hear someone say they can relate to something you’ve created. We’re all still amazed how we get so many plays everyday from these lame home recorded tracks up on the myspace right now. Whoever is listening to them, thanks!
